Our leadership team combines decades of underground coal mining operating experience with strong capital allocation discipline. The members of the leadership team are large equity holders and operate the mine with a long term mindset. Our stated ambition is to transform Oak Grove into the safest and most efficient metallurgical coal mining operation in the US.

Måns Larsson

Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Måns led the acquisition of Oak Grove in 2024 with a vision to use the company as a platform for building the premier American steelmaking coal company. He is driving Oak Grove's growth through organic expansion of mineral reserves, greenfield mine developments and selective M&A. Måns firmly believes that coking coal is essential for the continued growth of the global economy and is positioning Oak Grove as a key contributor to the premium segment of the market. He is a regular speaker at the main coal conferences across the globe. Recently he presented at the S&P Global Coking Coal Conference in Singapore, the US Coal Show in Pittsburgh and Carbon Congress in Dubai. He is also a thought leader for the mining industry, advocating for responsible mining and the introduction of new technologies. Oak Grove is trailblazing the use of AI in underground coal mining. He brings almost three decades of experience, having started his career at Goldman Sachs in 1999 and founded Makuria, an industrial holding company, in 2012. A.B. Robert Glitch

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER & PRESIDENT

Bob brings 13 years in coal and more than 25 years across financial management, corporate management, IT, and treasury. Before Oak Grove he was CFO of Alanax Technologies and led finance and IT at Murray Energy, the largest US underground coal producer. He oversees financial reporting, treasury, banking relationships, and capital program execution. M.B.A., Ohio State; B.B.A. Accounting, Ohio University.

Philip Saunders

Senior Vice President, Operations

Philip has 34 years in mining across engineering, operations, and senior management. He led the development and construction of Warrior Met's Blue Creek mine — the only new premium met coal mine built in Alabama in the past decade — delivering the $1.1 billion greenfield project on budget and roughly eight months ahead of schedule. He has held production roles from the Powder River Basin to Alabama longwalls, and served as President of Kingston Resources. B.S. Mining Engineering, Virginia Tech; M.B.A. International Business.
